The AIA Houston Design Awards program is an annual event recognizing design excellence in architecture, residential architecture, interior architecture, restoration/renovation, and urban design.
I developed a publication for the 2020 Design Awards that showcases (and provides credits for) each of the 125 project submissions, while also providing information about the event such as juror bios and sponsor logos. The intention behind the publication was to design something that is streamlined, sophisticated, and replicable from year to year. A rubbery-soft matte finish paper adds a touch of understated elegance to the publication's cover, reinforcing the overall intention behind the layout.
